How was Your Day in German

Ich hatte einen schönen Tag! (I had a great day!) I woke up this morning and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

The sun was shining and there was a slight breeze blowing. I decided to go for a walk before breakfast. After my walk, I ate breakfast outside on the balcony.

I then got ready for my day and left for work. At work, I had a lot of fun. My colleagues and I were joking around and laughing all day long.

We also managed to get a lot of work done. In the afternoon, we went out for lunch together and then continued working until late in the evening. When I got home, my roommate was already asleep so I watched some television by myself before going to bed.

Depending on where you work or study, your schedule will be different. But let’s say you have a 9-5 job. In that case, you would probably commute to work by bus or train.

Ich fahre mit dem Bus zur Arbeit. (“I take the bus to work.”) Once you’re at work or school, it’s time to get down to business!

You might have a few hours of meetings or classes followed by some time working on projects alone or with colleagues. Mittags habe ich eine Stunde Pause, in der ich etwas essen und mich etwas erholen kann.
